Star of The Office, Martin Freeman – who played Tim Canterbury in the comedy – has revealed who his “dream dinner party” guests would be, and one of them is Jesus!

Martin also conceded that his choice of dinner guests might be those of his The Office colleague, David Brent.

Martin, who also starred hit romcom, Love Actually, told the PA, “At my dinner party I’d have Stan Laurel, and it might sound so David Brent, it’s embarrassing…

“But for me… Jesus, Ghandi, Martin Luther King.

“It couldn’t sound more like David Brent.”

When asked what he’d cook for Jesus, Martin replied, “Pasta. He likes Italian.”

And while discussing his film roles, Martin said, “I only really watch my own films, I don’t watch any other films and I don’t particularly like any other actors…

“So I’ve got a very small DVD collection ’cause it is only me in it, and when I watch I do fast forward everyone else.”
