This month sees a new sitcom from BBC Scotland coming to BBC One. The Old Guys features two elderly delinquents, Tom and Roy, who believe there is life in the old dog yet – but it might just need a kick. That is, of course, when they are not lusting after sexy neighbour Sally.

These are two older guys for whom life is just beginning.

Tom is a baby-boomer who has never done anything with his life. However, he is sure that’s all about to happen now he has a Freedom Pass.

Roy is a suburban pensioner who suspects he may be one of the UK’s leading intellectuals.

When Roy’s wife left him, Tom moved in and together they are determined to go out in a blaze of glory.
