It seems that The Rachel hairdo is the most requested hairstyle “in British history”, according to today’s Daily Star.

The paper states that around 10 million women have asked their hair stylists to make them look like Jennifer Aniston, the Friend’s star who played Rachel.

A Meg Ryan style was second favourite hairdo, followed by Dannii Minogue’s bob. And Dannii’s X Factor colleague Cheryl Cole’s curly hair was the fourth most popular style.

And in at fifth on the hairdo charts was Kylie Minogue’s ‘poodle perm’.

The marketing manager of goodyhair.co.uk, Rose-Marie Jarvis, told the paper, “It’s no secret that many women take inspiration from celebrities when it comes to their appearance.”
