The Wanted appeared on This Morning earlier today, to give a live performance of their new single ‘Warzone’ but it didn’t go quite as well as they had hoped.

The track is due for release on Boxing Day and is the band’s fourth single from their second album ‘Battleground’.

The boys – Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes – took to the stage on the ITV daytime show, however the solo vocals sounded very fuzzy and at times practically indistinguishable and afterwards Nathan took to Twitter to apologise to fans.

He wrote:

“Sorry about the sound on that performance guys, heard the mics were a bit ermm … :S”.

Max added: “Sorry about the sound everyone… Few technical issues! Oops!”

The boys made up for their disappointment though and had some fun when they hacked the official This Morning Twitter feed and posted some rude messages to followers.
