After a resounding success with her No Car Day in Marlow, Kris’s journey moves on to traffic blackspot Boston, where her campaign soon comes to a grinding halt. Boston is three times the size of Marlow, and in a town that elected the majority of its current local council from the Boston Bypass Independents, the car is king.
But Boston is also one of the fattest towns in Britain. Booed off the Boston United football pitch and shouted at in the street, will Kris be driven out of town with her plans to get drivers’ moving without their cars?
