A three-part-series showcasing the world's most remarkable musical prodigies and the classical stars of tomorrow. Sixteen-year-old Alexander Prior is one of Britain's most talented and prolific young composers. Now Channel 4 has commissioned Alexander to compose a concerto featuring some of the world's most brilliant young musicians. He travels to the USA and China to hand-pick four child prodigies, and the chosen children are then flown to the UK to premiere his concerto under his baton. In the first film, Alex travels to Miami in search of his prodigious talents.
