This is the first glimpse of the Wylde children who will be crashing into Emmerdale in an hour special episode on Tuesday 17 February 2009.

Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) and Maisie Wylde (Alice Coulthard) cause an immediate stir when they arrive in style to their dad Mark’s (Maxwell Caulfield) extravagant birthday party, hot on the heels of their younger brother Will (Oscar Lloyd) who arrives a day earlier.

The aspirational, wealthy and dynamic Wylde family headed up by Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) and Mark (Maxwell Caulfied) have recently moved into Home Farm and have already made their mark on village life.

Actor Lyndon, 25, has previously appeared in Spooks, Doctors, Famous Five and Robin Hood. He says “I am really excited to be playing the role of Nathan Wylde, he is a bit of a rogue and I’m looking forward to bringing out his darker side. He’s definitely not as nice as he seems.”

Alice, 27, who has previously appeared in The Bill and Holby City, says “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. Maisie is a really fun character and she’s not afraid to say and do the things that most people would never dare to. She’ll be giving her parents a really hard time.”
