This Morning sex addict admits “I used to be a man!”

As we reported yesterday, Eamonn Holmes sparked a flurry of furious complaints when he suggested that This Morning guest, Crystal Warren, should use the fact she has a “sex addiction” to monetary advantage by becoming a prostitute…

However, Crystal has today upstaged Eamonn and his gaffe by revealing that she used to be a man, and was born Christopher Snowdon.

And to be honest, when I saw the picture of Crystal yesterday, I did think ‘She looks like she used to be a bloke’ but obviously, in the spirit of not being a bitch, I didn’t say so in my post about the debacle…

I also thought that Crystal was possibly a pseudonym – given that only soap characters and drag acts are called something like Crystal – but to what end covering her identity with a fake name was meant to achieve, given we saw what she looks like, I could only imagine.

So, with today’s report in the Sun, the penny droppeth.

Crystal – who told the paper that she’s slept with around a thousand men – left Christopher behind in 2005 and became Crystal.

However, it seems none of them were aware that Crystal was formerly a man, and she said, “I’m scared there will be a lot of angry men out there reading this but I have to tell the truth.

“A lot of people will think I’ve lied to those I’ve had sex with. But I don’t feel I have because I’m a woman and my past is all behind me.

“I don’t want any man I’ve ever been with to doubt his sexuality now because of this. They didn’t know they were sleeping with somebody like me.

“I’m now just like any other girl who wants to enjoy my life after many years without the right body.

“Now I’ve got the body I want to use it all the time.

“I wanted to do a photoshoot with The Sun and look really girlie and sexy so people can see I am a woman and not say I look like a fella.”

The article goes on to say that in 2002, Crystal began having female hormones and had laser treatment to remove body hair. She underwent full gender reassignment surgery seven years ago.

Of the life changing moment when Crystal’s gender dysmorphia was recognised, she said, “One day when I was 14 I was at the swimming pool with my mum and feeling very depressed and she just told me, ‘Don’t worry, I know what’s going on. You’re not gay — you’re just not in the right body’.”

Wonder what Eamonn would have said live on air to this news? I’d love to know…
