Actress Tina O’Brien has revealed that she has had no definite job offers since leaving Coronation Street, but she would love to get her hands on a role in a meaty drama.

“There are no definite projects confirmed yet, but there are jobs I’m up for - which I can’t talk about at the moment - that are very exciting,” Tina told the Sunday Mirror. “I’d love to do a real meaty drama or anything that’s different to what I’ve been doing for the past eight years. Maybe I can do some more theatre after panto. Who knows?

“The door has been left open for me to return to Coronation Street in the future and I certainly wouldn’t want to burn my bridges and say I’ll never go back. But I’ve only just left and it’d be a bit crazy if I was already begging to get my old job back.”
