Tinie Tempah has once again commented on pop superstar Miley Cyrus and her recent controversial actions at various live events and in the media.
2013 for at least the second half anyway has been all Miley Cyrus. Every other day she’s in the news in some form doing or wearing something controversial.
Miley Cyrus also currently leads this years ‘Time’s Person Of The Year Readers Poll’ with 29.4 percent of votes however before the voting closes on the 4th of December Time will be looking into allegations that voting may have been rigged.
Tinie Tempah however has spoken to The Mirror and the rapper said he believes that everything Miley Cyrus does is all part of a strategy.
Speaking to the newspaper Tempah said that she wants people to continue speaking about her: “It’s really hard for somebody in the public eye to grow up. Everything happened with me at kind of like a perfect age. I was 19, 20.”
“I had already experienced enough life doing my thing. I was old enough to know what I’m doing. But when I think of Miley Cyrus, I think about the fact that everyone would always see this girl as Hannah Montana.”
Tempah continued: “And it’s very difficult, even when you look at Justin Bieber – it’s almost like no matter what he does, you’ll always think of the guy with the hair over his eyes singing ‘Baby’. I sympathise with them.”
“I do think sometimes you have to go a bit extreme to kind of get people’s attention. And I think that’s exactly what she’s done. I don’t by any means think she’s stupid. If she was, why would we have not heard of Hannah Montana having a breakdown?”
Tinie also continued in the interview about how the ‘Wrecking Ball’ star is picking her moment to do certain things adding that these things always happen on TV: “She’s branding herself as Miley Cyrus, she’s picking the right moment to do the right thing. It’s not like you ever catch her off camera or hear about her in a private club.”
“That never happens. It’s only when she’s on TV, at an awards show. She picks the right moment to do things to get people talking. And I’m not saying I condone it or anything like that but when you look at it objectively – she clearly has a plan.”
Tinie added: “She’s clearly trying to get everyone talking about her.And everyone is talking about her so therefore she’s getting what she wants out of it and her album is selling really well, and people are buying her music, so it seems like the plan is working.”
The ‘Demonstration’ star was also forced to postpone his UK tour earlier in the month. The tour was supposed to kick off next month but due to production issues Tinie postponed and even cancelled some of the dates.
