The New York Daily News has reported that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are big fans of Gossip Girl star, Chace Crawford. Chace plays Nate Archiblaid in the US drama.
The pair met the young star at The Met Costume Gala last week and made a beeline to tell him how much they admired his work.
“Tom and Katie went up to Chace to say how much they love him and the show. They didn’t talk to any of the other cast members,” a source is quoted as saying.
Fellow cast members Penn Badgely (Dan Humphrey ) and Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) were said to be disappointed that they “didn’t get any love” from the megastars.
The source added: “Penn was supposed to be the show’s break-out star and now it is obviously Chace, and Penn doesn’t like it.”
