Most people would want to forget about a 288mph car crash that almost killed them, but not Top Gear’s Richard Hammond. No, he’s going to write a book about it!
Richard has had publishers falling over themselves, offering him money for a book deal, but he has settled on a six figure sum with Orion.
The book is due out in time for the Christmas rush and Richard said:
He said: “The process of recovery from brain damage — and I was lucky enough to recover — is fascinating.
“It is a real insight not just for myself but the way the mind works, and that’s what I want to write about.”
