Were you a big fan of New Kids On The Block, or did you salivate at the sight of Boyzone in their day? If so then you are gonna love Dave’s new show ToyBoize.

Toyboize launched last year as a web only show, exclusive to Youtube. However after acheiving more than one million hits, it will tonight become the first online comedy to make the move to TV.

Toyboize follows a former child pop group who reunite 20 years after their heyday when their song is used in a mobile phone advert. But the years have been pretty unkind to the once-angelic pre-pubescent pop stars: imagine Spinal Tap meets New Kids on the Block. The 5 x 5’ comedy series stars Jack Brough, Jamie Deeks, Dan Johnston and Ewen MacIntosh, who also write perform and direct comedy projects for both television and online.

The above clip is exclusive to Youtube and shows the band trying to convince X-Factor’s Louis Walsh to become their manager for their 2009 comeback.

Toyboize will air daily on Dave at 11pm from Monday 9th March.
