True Blood got off to a great start last night, as season four premièred on US TV network HBO.

Looking ahead to next week’s episode, titled ‘You Smell Like Dinner’, Sookie is back in Bon Temps and she and best pal Tara reunite to work together on a real-estate problem.

Bill and Eric are concerned by Marnie’s witches coven and meet to discuss how they can best deal with this new threat to vampires. However the pair also clash over Eric’s disobedience after Bill became the new vampire king. He recommends that his blonde nemesis faces the ‘true death’ but we don’t think he’d have the nerve to go through with it!

Blond hottie Jason Stackhouse needs some unusual medical assistance, as things start happening that he doesn’t understand. And fellow Bon Temps hunk Sam discovers that Luna has some demons of her own.

Back in vamp land, the beautiful red headed Jessica is struggling to stay faithful to Hoyt and control her cravings for human blood. She can’t avoid the thrill and ends up having to apologise to the love of her life for her behaviour.
