The fifth season of True Blood is still weeks away but the teasers are coming thick and fast.

Earlier this week we brought you a first look at the sister of Eric, a vampire named Nora who will be played by Lucy Griffiths. Read more about that storyline here.

Then we brought you another great promo, in which Eric accused his loyal assistant Pam of being the one behind the escape of evil Russell Edginton and told her that he can no longer trust anyone around him.

Tonight, we thought you might want to have a look at the brand new season five poster that has just been released.

It’s composed of a very simple, yet eye-catching design, consisting of a close up shot of what appears to be a female face, centred on their left eye.

Of course, what makes this eye-catching and relative to the show is the blood red tear running down the character’s face and the simple tagline:

So has this left you wanting more? Well you have a full month to wait because True Blood season five will air in the US on June 10th and won’t come to the UK until later this year.
