We have all the deets ahead of tonight’s premiere episode inside. Go on… click the link!

So, tonight True Blood returns after quite a lengthy hiatus, so we’re expecting a lot from the premiere episode and judging by the spoilers that have been released ahead of tonight’s premiere, it certainly won’t disappoint.

Tonight’s episode is titled “Who Are You, Really?” and it picks up just where the fifth season left off. The Authority went up in flames and Sookie, Eric, Jason, Jessica, Tara, Pam and Nora were fleeing for their safety.

Jessica says: “It feels like the world is spinning out of control! It’s just chaos”.

Sookie adds: “I can barely remember the last time when I wasn’t in danger!”

Alcide is now packmaster and he soon “discovers that the job comes with unsavory side dishes, but other major perks”. Sam and Emma are joined by Lina in their get-away from the Authority and Bill embraces his new powers he discovers after being reincarnated.

Tonight’s premiere will also see Sheriff Andy coming to terms with his newborn-fairie hybrid babies, which creeps his girlfriend (Debbie) out a tad.

We also we meet Governor Truman Burrell this evening who tells the humans that they need to arm themselves with guns and wooden bullets in a bid to protect themselves from the vampires. He also orders all vampire run businesses to be shut down immediately.

“When humans can no longer walk these streets at night without fearing for their lives, then we have to take our streets back,” Burrell declares.

The brand new episodic promo for the first episode of the new season, hints that Jessica may have been put into a bit of a sticky situation.

She asks Eric: “You want to kill Bill?”

Not only that, Jessica returns to Bill’s house as Jason hitches a ride with an “eerie stranger”. We all know Jason is never far away from danger or trouble, so it should be interesting to see what happens.

The official synopsis reads:

In the wake of Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) blood-soaked reincarnation, Sookie (Anna Paquin), Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Tara (Rutina Wesley), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) flee the Authority compound as Sam (Sam Trammell), Luna (Janina Gavankar) and Emma (Chloe Noelle) dodge swarming guards. Now packmaster, Alcide (Joe Manganiello) discovers that the job comes with unsavory side dishes, but other major perks. In Bon Temps, Andy (Chris Bauer) deals with parenting four newborn human-faerie hybrids. Meanwhile, Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) vows open season on vampires. Jessica returns to Compton Place as Jason hitches a ride with an eerie stranger. Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by Stephen Moyer.
