The True Blood stars have made their Comic Con appearance (finally) and HBO have revealed a fabulous video promo to mark the event.

Star of the show Anna Paquin – best known as psychic vampire lover Sookie Stackhouse – turned up to the event in a smoking hot red mini dress and posed for photographs with her real life husband and on-screen co-star Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton).

The former X men star will celebrate her 29th birthday tomorrow and looked like she was getting into the celebratory mood early, as she giggled and laughed with fellow cast members at the event in San Diego, California.

During the panel interview, Anna told fans of the HBO vampire drama that she loves the two part nature of her alter ego, admitting that she has a vcery sweet and caring side and then “there’s the part of her that has really dirty vampire sex.”

Teasing the remainder of the fourth season, now airing in America, creator Alan ball promised fans a very steamy shower scene between Sookie and Eric and also revealed that there will soon be “a business venture that involves people of both sexes taking their clothes off for some kind of supernatural purpose.”
