As fans of True Blood stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin – who are of course married and who play the roles of Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse respectively – may know, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child a few weeks ago…

However, US Weekly reports that their TB co-star Sam Trammell – who plays Sam Merlotte – has revealed that Stephen and Anna are actually expecting twins!

He said, “I’m so excited for them. We sent them a special gift.

“It’s so interesting that True Blood has become, like, the ‘twins’ show.”

Sam was referring to the fact that he and his girlfriend Missy welcomed twins Gus and Winston last year…

Of that, Sam said, “It’s harder, having twins, but it’s all we know. So we’re trying to impart some decent wisdom.

“I told them to hold on tight!”

Stephen already has two children from his previous marriage, however, the twins will be Anna’s first children. The couple met in 2007 and married in a romantic beachside ceremony in Malibu in 2010.

However, though Sam broke the couple’s twins news, Anna declined to confirm or deny it, telling the magazine, “No comment.”

Oo, I wonder if Sam’s now off their Christmas card list for leaking that snippet of news?
