LA TV staff have marched through Hollywood, urging those involved to bring an end to the writers strike.

The ‘Strike A Deal’ march was to “put a face on the thousands of us adversely affected by the current strike”, organisers said.

Workers from hit shows such as Ugly Betty, Nip Tuck, Desperate Housewives and The Office attended the rally and Christopher Griffin, one of the organisers said:

“Lock yourselves in a room, throw away the key,” he said. “Stay there until a settlement is reached. All of our lives and our livelihoods hang in the balance.”
