Two Door Cinema Club are described as an indie rock band from Northern Ireland and have a vast array of hits in their short time in the music industry.
The band recently announced potentially their biggest show to date at the London O2 and the band have now released the official music video for ‘Changing Of The Seasons’ – their next single which is due out on the 30th of September.
Two Door Cinema Club are Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths) Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, backing vocals). The band formed in 2007 and released their debut album ‘Tourist History’ in 2010.
The band went on to release their second album ‘Beacon’ in September 2012 which debuted at number one in the Irish Albums Chart.
Two Door Cinema Club have seen great success after performing at some of the countries best known venues and festivals and various tracks they have released have been used in TV shows and commercials which go to prove how catchy their music is.
On the announcement that the band would be playing at London’s O2 Arena Kevin Baird, bass player for the band spoke during an interview with Radio 1′s Huw Stephens. ”It’s something we had talked about and kind of said yes and then no, many many times,”
“I think now we are really in a good place and we really feel ready to headline and put on a real show.”
“We didn’t see the sense in playing to a big room because we could sell the tickets and not put the scale of show that venue and that audience deserved.”
Guitarist Sam Halliday spoke with NME about the big show. “It doesn’t feel real yet; at the moment it feels like a dream. It’s testing the water of a new sort of show. I went to see Beyonce at the O2 recently and that show definitely fits in the O2.”
“Then I think back to that and think of our show at the minute… We want to try and fill the stage a bit more and be confident commanding a crowd rather than just playing the songs.”
‘Changing Of The Seasons’ from Two Door Cinema Club will be released as part of an EP on September 30th and is the bands next single. Watch the video below and let us know what you think in the comments below or on Twitter & Facebook.
