Ugly Betty actress, America Ferrera, has revealed that she suffered mentally and emotionally after acting in her first movie at 17. Her dream job wasn’t all she had hoped it would be and it was a large cause of stress for her.
She told W magazine: “I just felt really empty. I had achieved my dream, and it wasn’t totally fulfilling.
“I still had school problems, and I still had boy problems. My life was still my life.
“I guess I had been waiting to be turned into a swan.”
She added: “And you know the way you think when you’re a teenager: Disney Channel today, Oscars tomorrow!”
