University Challenge: Olivia Woolley….a man….really?
So I’m watching University Challenge last night and watching as the teams introduce themselves. Captain of the first team is Olivia Woolley who is currrently completing a PHD in law.
But is she really a she, because she sounds like a he to me……

Maybe she is transsexual. Maybe she isn’t but has a really masculine voice. Either way, kudos to her for having the confidence to be on UC.

Last week a blind girl, this week a transsexual. My PC senses are tingling.
So what if she is? She seemed very intelligent, I don’t see what her gender has to do with anything.
My theory is that she’s taken steroids for a medical condition and her deep voice is a side-effect. But ultimately, it’s none of my/your business.

Voice is no more reliable than anything else. People vary. More than you think.
What the Heck does it matter??
Definitely a man (no boobs, large hands, deep voice) who probably wants to be a woman, for whatever reason. Impressively knowledgable.
