Miley Cyrus seems to be enjoying herself, at least it looks that way. She’s 20 years old but because she’s in the public eye she’ll get comments left right and centre from the media and internet trolls.
Some say that’s part of the deal of becoming big and famous and as of late Miley Cyrus maybe isn’t doing herself any favours. Sure she’s enjoying herself and heck she’s getting a lot of press but will it be good for her in years to come?
Since her raunchy performance last month at the annual MTV VMAs in Brooklyn New York with Robin Thicke the 20 year old has been discussed day in day out whether it be in the media, online or even over hearing people passing by discussing the star.
Celebrities though have also commented about the stars behaviour so we thought we’d compile them all here for you rather than giving you several different posts to read. As it’s coming up for the weekend an all, we like to make things easy for everybody.
Justin Timberlake chatting with Matt Lauer on ‘Today’:
“I don’t know that I have a definitive thought in one direction or the other about it. I think she’s really smart and I think she’s really talented.”
“I’m not saying I agree with the presentation, but I also feel like every 10 to 15 years we pick somebody that this is what we’re going to do with them, is we’re going to make them the model of who we want our daughters to be or not be.”
Billy Ray Cyrus (Miley Cyrus’ father) speaking in an interview with Piers Morgan:
“Miley harnessed into something very special. She’s just Miley. She’s an artist, she’s real. I think that’s what’s happened over the years, Miley has been reinventing her sound.”
“She’s evolving as an artist herself. I think that it’s all of what everyone is calling controversy now. That’s still my Miley.”
Britney Spears – who is to be featured on Miley Cyrus’ album ‘Bangerz’:
“I remember that age when I was just transferring into my career and doing more controversial things and the energy that you feel, all this chaos going on, and she is on fire right now, she’s just a ball full of energy.”
“It’s a time to embellish a little bit on the creative side of what you do, bring the artistic side of what you do out.”
Miley Cyrus has even opened up in an MTV documentary which will air soon and in a promo clip had said to Britney Spears regarding the MTV VMAs:
“Everyone talks the VMAs so seriously and I just want to come out and… shoot a hot dog gun. I want to have fun.”
The star also speaks during the documentary about her career and the controversy that seems to follow her no matter where she goes:
“You’re always going to make people talk, you might as well make them talk for two weeks rather than two seconds.”
The MTV Documentary ‘Miley: The Movement’ will air on the 2nd of October and Miley Cyrus is due to release her new album ‘Bangerz’ on the 7th of October in the UK and the 8th in the US.
On the 5th of October the former Disney Channel star will also perform and host ‘Saturday Night Live’.
