Video: The Kids are All Right In Glasgow!

John Barrowman, the dynamic star of ‘Torchwood’ and ‘I’d do Anything’, hosts a brand new family prime time entertainment show - The Kids Are All Right.

This week it’s the turn of an outgoing and brainy group of adults from Glasgow to take on the team of child wonders. The Glaswegian hopefuls all know each other very well – it’s a brother and sister and two friends – and the Kids had better watch out, one of them is a Research Scientist with a PhD.

They take on a gang of super smart Super Kids - master spellers, maths geniuses, musical sensations - each kid has their own area of expertise. Every week seven of our resident child marvels stand between the adults and their fortune. Aged between nine and fifteen, the smart and sassy kids are determined to see the adults go home with nothing.

The adult team will take on the super kids in a thrilling battle of wits. A cash prize is at stake - but first the grown ups’ skills and mental agility must be tested. If the adults want to avoid complete humiliation, they will have to be at the top of their game.

Across four taxing rounds testing their brainpower, knowledge and speed of response, the adults can bank money… but they only get to take it home if they can win the tense, high jeopardy and iconic final game, ‘Beat the Kids’.

In this exhilarating finale, the four adults must take on all seven kids, in order of ascending age, head to head on the buzzer. Beat a kid and that kid is eliminated and the adults are one kid closer to the cash. However, if the kid defeats the adult, they are eliminated and the next adult must step up to face the kid.

Will the adults conquer all seven kids and win the cash? Or will they be defeated and sent home empty-handed?

They’re cocky, they’re competitive and they’re cooler than you’ll ever be - The Kids Are All Right.
