VIDEO: Watch why Lauren Harries was banned from This Morning
Phillip Schofield has admitted that Lauren Harries has been banned from This Morning after making her ridiculous appearance yesterday.
Harries had a sex change in 2001 and was invited to appear on the programme after recent news stories about transgender children.
However Lauren went a little bit mad, her melt down begins around 9 minutes where she does a bizarre impression of a Little Britain character, out of the blue and for no apparent reason.
“What a shame that Lauren did her cause no good at all,” said Schofield. “You just never know what’s next do you?
“Sadly [Lauren] let herself down a bit on the show today by behaving in a most peculiar fashion. Certainly didn’t advance understanding. We will regroup, recast and try again. I really want to hear more from the doctor who was on with her. He was a little bemused!
“She did an ‘Anne’ from Little Britain! Maybe it was a dare. Spectacularly inappropriate and very silly… If I wasn’t so cross at the wasted opportunity to advance public perception I think I would laugh at the utter madness of it all.
“Oh well, she won’t be on This Morning again. I hope the doctor will come back, though… but with a more sensible spokesperson.”

I can remember this person when he/she was on Terry Wogan all those years ago – weirdo is not the word – to see such a young child supposedly knowing all there is to know about antiquities was odd to say the least, and not that convincing! Very sad, he (at the time he!) was obviously totally encouraged by his parents – why!!!? And now, having had a sex change operation, she (as she is now!) seems no more happy with life as he/she did then! Im afraid this sad person’s parents have a lot to answer for and hope that ‘Lauren’ finds peace in her/his life

Any wonder she did a Little Britain turn – she was a strange child when seen on Wogan who comes from a seemingly strange family – researches of the program must have been aware that things could go a little pearshaped!
