So, after this week’s episode we’ve got two to go until season four of ‘The Walking Dead’ is finished and we’re really not sure what to expect from the finale.

Since the show returned from its midseason hiatus we’ve had a glimpse into each individual group that fled the prison and their attempts at a reunion. Will the new ‘sanctuary’ bring them all back together? Will everyone make it back alive?

Spoilers after the jump….

This week’s episode, as we’d said earlier in the week focuses on Carol, Tyreese, Lizzie, Mika and baby Judith in an episode called ‘The Grove’.

The youngest members of the group become the focus for much of the episode, as they are forced to become more self sufficient in their smaller groups, which means they have to be able to slay walkers when the threat arises. Many of the children and almost teens struggle with the idea that the walkers are no longer people as they know them. There are massive crisis’ of conscience all round.

The group – Carol, Tyreese and the kids – also have a tough decision to make. Do they continue to the ‘sanctuary’ or halt their journey and make a new life for themselves at a secluded house they’ve found off the railroad?

Tyreese appears fairly content with the little clan he has. He seems doubtful about increasing their numbers and taking the risks needed to find the others.

Carol is on the fence however thought she also seems to have more pressing things on her mind. The group’s mama figure is keeping a close eye on Lizzie, who melts down every time a walker’s put down.

At one point in the episode Lizzie is seen dashing around the yard with a walker and when Carol rushes out to help her, killing the creature, the young girl loses it again, insisting that the walker was her friend and meant no harm.

Later in the episode, when Tyreese and Carol return from a walk they see Lizzie standing over her sister Mika, holding a bloody knife. But is she dead? You’ll have to watch to see.

No other characters feature in this week’s episode and we’re really not sure where all this is heading. Will this season have a happy ending? Are they all going to turn up at this ‘sanctuary’?

All we know is we’re two characters down – that’s right, Carol kills again. You’re going to want to watch tonight to find out who!

Oh, and she also confesses to killing Karen and David at the prison. On hearing the news, Tyreese reaches for the gun Carol places in front of him. Will he slay her too?

‘The Walking Dead’ returns this Sunday on AMC for American fans on the 16th of March at 9pm or on Monday (the 17th) in the UK on Fox from 9pm.

After this episode I don’t think I can watch the walking dead anymore. I am frankly sickened that the writers thought having carol execute a child is okay.

The producrs and writers did an excellent job in reminding the world it’s Horror show. Horror is more then creepy zombies.
