Warwick Davis, Claudia Winkleman, Jo Brand and more to take part in The Great British Bake Off for Comic Relief!

The BBC have released pictures of this year’s hilarious Comic Relief edition of The Great British Bake Off, and what an all-star cast it boasts!

The Great British Bake Off, the surprise hit cooking show which launched in 2010, will see stars such as Strictly Come Dancing Results presenter Claudia Winkleman, comedian Jo Brand and star of Ricky Gervais’ hit comedies, Life’s Too Short and An Idiot Abroad Warwick Davis, all hit their baking stations to see if they have what it takes to impress the judges when the show returns for this mini-series for charity at the end of the month.


The show will be hosted by Mel Giedroyc and judged by returning popular judges, Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry.

In the first heat of the competition viewers will be treated to watching Jo Brand, Stephen K Amos and comedienne double act Lorna Watson and Ingrid Oliver all competing in the name of the famous BBC charity, Comic Relief.

The following heat will see actor Warwick Davis, Dragons’ Den star Duncan Bannatyne and presenters Andy Akinwolere and Simon Reeve going head to head to win with their culinary magic.

In the third heat will be Paralympic gold medal winner Ellie Simmonds, presenters Julia Bradbury and Kirsty Wark and comedian Bob Mortimer baking for judges approval.

Taking part in the final heat will be Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman, stand-up comedian Ed Byrne, Olympian Helen Glover and journalist Martha Kearney, all whipping their pastries into a frenzy in hope of making the final!

The Great British Bake-Off will run between January 21 and 24 and will see the contestants perform signature bakes, technical bakes and showstopper bakes.
