ITV.com have released the results of their recent poll and shockingly it revealed that British people spend more quality time with their favourite Soap Opera characters than with their families.
On average a British person will spend 275 minutes per week watching soaps, but only 90 minutes in quality time with their partner or family.
That explains the decline in society then!
