Christina and Izzie fight for surgeries and a favour, and the Chief turns to the other men in the hospital when his marriage runs into yet more trouble.

The Family, Channel 4, 9pm ~ The Rules: This show is the highlight of my week and tonight, Simon takes on the role of peace-maker when Jane complains that Emily has been stealing her clothes. Before long, a lock is put on Jane and Simon’s bedroom door, which stops both Emily’s pilfering and access to the only bathroom in the house.

Paul Merton in India, Five, 9pm ~ The comedian visits India’s self-proclaimed capital of rock ‘n’ roll, situated in a remote part of Shillong in the far east of the country. Desperate Housewives, Channel 4, 10pm ~ You’re Gonna Love Tomorrow: The new series kicks off tonight and we find that five years after Katherine shot her volatile former husband Wayne, her friends still stand by her. However, the Wisteria Lane of 2013 is a very different place, with Susan secretly dating her painter Jackson and Gabby concerned about her four-year-old daughter’s weight problem. Meanwhile, Bree clashes with Katherine on a cooking show in front of the camera crew.

Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World, E4, 10.30pm ~ Hormonally Yours: Tonight’s episode of the very funny legolike guys sees a Gayrage TV star moves in next door to Rick, just as his herbal steroids kick in which make him unusually lecherous. Dana experiences hormone trouble of her own as her increased levels of progesterone make her obsessively baby-proof her house and Steve’s attempt to expand his business goes awry.

101 More Things Removed from the Human Body, Sky 3, 11pm ~ An often weird insight into the strange and horrifying selection of objects that have been removed from the bodies of human beings including a maggot, a tree branch and a drill bit.
