Celebrity Big Brother star, Chantelle Houghton has landed a role in a new ITV drama that mirrors her own strange rise to fame.

Chantelle has been cast as a police woman who has a fling with a football player and finds herself an overnight celebrity. The show will be called Whatever It Takes, and will also star former EastEnder Shane Richie and The Bill star Gary Lucy.

A friend of Chantelle’s told The Daily Star: “She was thrilled to be asked. She knows what it’s like to be catapulted to stardom.”
