Celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver has revealed that he hopes to inspire new cooks with his upcoming Nintendo DS lite game ‘What’s Cooking? With Jamie Oliver.’

“Gaming is something I’ve been interested in for a while,” Oliver told MCV.

“I love technology and the chance to combine that with something that inspires people to cook – I find that very exciting.

“The guys from Atari came to me with an idea and we played around with it and now it’s a really great piece of kit.”

He added: “I hope it will appeal to everyone from kids who are into food, young blokes who want to learn about cooking, women who are into cooking and gamers – everyone really.”

What’s Cooking? With Jamie Oliver will be released in October.
