What’s happening in tonight’s Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders (24/05/12)

Here is you sneaky peak at the night ahead of you in soap land….

Hollyoaks

With Bart (Jonny Clark) and Sinead (Stephanie Davies) on the run, a frantic Dianne (Alexandra Fletcher) heads over to confront the remaining McQueens.  Meanwhile, Jacqui (Claire Cooper) appeals to Bart’s better side to not drag his girlfriend down with him, will he listen?

The strain of knowing his family’s financial strain is really starting to take its toll on Callum (Laurie Duncan), especially when his mum’s demands start affecting his exam revision.

Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) and Nancy (Jessica Fox) put their pub quiz war to one side just in time to celebrate some exciting news!

Emmerdale

Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) organises a family dinner now that the ice has finally thawed between her and Amy (Chelsea Half-Penny), what a fantastic time for Val (Charlie Hardwick) to return….

Later that evening, Amy lets it slip to Val that Eric (Chris Chittel) has been seeing someone whilst she was away.  Not one to be deterred, or replaced, Val makes an announcement in the pub that she and Eric are back together, leaving Brenda feeling humiliated and devastated, will she be noticed?

Ali (Kelly Hollis) goes after the boys who had been bullying Sean (Luke Roskell), but as she goes to teach them a lesson, she loses control of her anger, can she control it in time?

Jai (Chris Bisson) has a heart to heart with his dad about his new role as step-father, which results in him asking Charity (Emma Atkins) a very special question, how will she react?

Coronation Street

Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) efforts to surprise Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) on her birthday work alright, but not in the way he wanted.  Furious at certain guests being present at her party, Kirsty lashes out violently at Tyrone again!

Stella (Michelle Collins) and Karl (John Michie) celebrate their anniversary, whilst an ever increasingly jealous Sunita (Shobna Gulati) looks on.

Sean (Anthony Cotton) thinks that Betty is sending him messages from beyond the grave!

EastEnders

Mandy’s (Nicola Stapleton) news seems to tip Ian (Adam Woodyatt) over the edge, as his erratic behaviour increases and he frantically continues planning the wedding regardless, it would seem the only thing that has the power to stop him at the moment is his bank balance!

Noticing this, Phil (Steve McFadden) steps in and threatens the chip shop owner, concerned that he is close to breaking point, whilst Mandy seriously wonders if the wedding is a mistake.

Whitney’s (Shona McGarty) plan of Tyler (Tony Discipline) putting Derek (Jamie Foreman) in his place backfire tonight, as whilst the Moon brother prepares a romantic evening for his girl, an unlikely friendship is formed between him and the gangster!
