WHO KILLED SCARLETT?
On 18th February 2008 Fiona MacKeown’s 15 year-old daughter, Scarlett Keeling, was found dead on a beach in Goa. Who Killed Scarlett? follows Fiona over the course of the past year as she searches for justice for Scarlett. It’s a campaign that has put her in the international spotlight and raised questions about whether she was negligent towards Scarlett and her whole way of life. Shocking. My heart is with this woman and her children. Shame she doesn’t have a kate moss representation or an amy winehouse ex somewhere or she might be given some common decency. I admire her for doing this programme as it must have taken more courage than anyone could ever know. The authorities take over your rights. They did not give birth to this womans daughter. It’s sickening to know that when there is a crime committed and the injured parties have no voice. This woman is a mother may not be in the conventional manner but that does not mean she is bad or without rights. From what I could see she is more kind than many, who use and abuse and hide behind pretentious parenting. This woman will suffer forever for what she wished she had done for her daughter. The politics involved are more about the business that would be affected by her poor daughters death, those people do not feel the hurt and pain. It’s an absolute disgrace people kill, beat, threaten, bully and lie all over the world and get away with, yet this woman who gave birth and trusted others has to fight for her dead daughters corpse! Someone pinch me as if this is what British is I think there’s a really bad taste in my mouth right now.
