After all the recent rumours of cast members lining up to leave the show, it is slightly refreshing to hear about one star who may be considering returning to Grey’s Anatomy.

Kate Walsh played Dr. Addison Montgomery on the ABC drama from 2005 until 2007, when she left to star in spinoff show, Private Practice.

Speaking to US Weekly about returning to the show, she said: “I might. I’m not gonna say. Who knows what’s in the mind of [creator] Shonda Rhimes.”

Walsh did admit that she thoroughly enjoyed her recent guest appearance on the show, she said:

“[It was] fantastic. I’m really thrilled and I think it’s always fun to go back,” she added.
