Former Pop Idol finalist Will Young is all set for a guest appearance on BBC Three comedy Horne and Corden.

Matt Horne confirmed that Will has already filmed his part for the show, claiming that he gave a “fantastic” performance.

“We do have Will Young in the last sketch of Superman and Spiderman,” Horne told This Morning. “He wasn’t required to do very much but what he did do was very specific and he brought something different that we didn’t write.”

Horne also confirmed that Pop Princess Kylie Minogue will show up later in the series.

“Kylie will also be in one of the sketches that we haven’t started yet,” he said. “And no, we’re not an item, if only it was true!

“We remained friends since working on The Kylie Show for ITV and she’s been great and really supportive.”
