Wire In The Blood: Robson Green Scared Of Snakes
Robson green has admitted that he was too scared to film a scene with a rattle snake for a new series of ITV’s Wire In The Blood.
Green, 42, who plays criminologist Tony Hill in show, told The Sun: “They wanted me to get into a car with a live rattlesnake but it’s too scary, so a stuntman’s going to do it instead.
“Tony is giving evidence in a court case in Texas but he makes loads of enemies while he’s there and they try to kill him. One day he finds a poisonous snake in his car.
“I’ve got to confess that I’ve always avoided doing my own stunts as I’m a vain self-obsessed actor.
“I was the same when I did Soldier Soldier in the 1990s. I wouldn’t jump off buildings, I’d get a stuntman to do it instead.
“And if I heard a sudden bang or explosion I’d shriek like Nathan Lane in the film The Birdcage!”
